(Ringling) Boathouse "Historic Building Renovations"

Dedicated team of volunteers needed to help bring the Boat House back to its original splendor.

  • Survey of existing condition (photo documentation, samples of original materials)
  • Create cost estimate for various methods/scale of repair
  • Research & pursue available historic restoration grants/loans (Morris County, etc.)
  • Present information to membership for vote
  • Follow through with restoration plan, whether full-blown "historic" or just purchase of materials & volunteer work crew with a specific plan
  • Enjoy seeing the results of your efforts every time you drive by; four columns and a complete roof sure would look nice, wouldn't they?

Here's what we have to work with:

Boathouse--2 Columns out of 4 Ain't Bad

Boathouse--Still Standing!

Boathouse--New Wall & Old Vault

Boathouse--Lake Level Up

Boathouse--Lake Level Down

Boathouse--Pylons

Boathouse--Tree Fell Here
